After a positive diagnosis, the course of treatment would be decided based on information collected from individual pathology reports and medical records. Women are advised to be actively involved in this phase, as the right information helps dispel worries and anxieties and gives psychological advantage. Surgical Procedures

Radiotherapy is less-taxing on the body, does minimize cell-degeneration and can actively prevent breast cancer recurrence by about 70%.
Treatments employing Herceptin, Tykerb, Avastin and some others also produce satisfactory results for treating breast cancer. They might entail alternative usage or integrated with any of the above procedures to obtain complete, permanent relief from breast cancer.
