An early diagnosis leads to most effective treatment

Our foremost priority in life should be our health. An individual should always take good care and stay fit and healthy both physically and emotionally. To maintain a healthy lifestyle one should regularly visit a doctor for a complete check up and if any disease is diagnosed, action should be taken immediately.

It is not always necessary that if one is feeling healthy from within he or she is fit and fine and does not have any physical or mental problem. It sometimes becomes very hard to detect some problems unless you are specifically looking for those. Breast cancer can remain undetected for years and when it is diagnosed; sometimes it becomes too late for the patients.

In breast cancer the general health conditions of the patients remain unharmed during initial stages. It is really difficult to detect breast cancer at its development stage. Hence one needs to notice the slightest symptoms and report to the doctor for an early diagnosis.

There are few important symptoms which sometimes indicate the development of the infection. Every woman should be cautious and be careful for these. At any point of time if one of these symptoms is noticed it is recommended to consult a doctor immediately.

Common breast cancer symptom

A lump in the breast is the most common symptom of the breast cancer which has a different feeling when touched. In maximum cases, patients suffer from a lump in the breast, which sometimes might be painful. This lump might be the development stage of the cancer. So it is always recommended by the experts to get a proper and thorough check up of the breast if any disorder found.

But all lumps found in the breast are not cancerous or painful. However, a proper diagnosis helps to detect the correct from of disease.

There are some other breast cancer symptoms as well, which indicates the development of the infection in the earlier stages.

change of shape and size of the breast

liquid discharge from the nipple

dimpling of the breast skin

nipple inversion

pain in the armpits

When the cancer cells enter in the small lymph vessels and infect the lymph nodes, the patient suffers from the Inflammatory Breast Cancer. In these cases the skin on the breast inflames and the patient suffers from pain, swelling, redness, dimpled skin texture and warmth.

To ensure an early and proper diagnosis of the breast cancer, every woman of and above the age of 35 should go for breast cancer screening every year. A simple check up every year is far way better than a surgery or the dissection of the breast.
